Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrival Katmandu transfer to hotel Overnight Kathmandu.


Day 2: Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley.

Morning after breakfast explore Kathmandu the capital city of Nepal we will visit special places like Pashupatinath at the bank of holy Baghmati River is the important Hindu temple. The Bodhnath is the biggest Buddhist Stupa and the most beautiful in the world about 500 years old. At the afternoon visit Hunmandhoka palace (Kathmandu durbar sq.)Is the residence of the living goddess called kumara, numerous interesting temples, Kasthmandap (house of wood) Overnight Kathmandu.


Day 03:- : Fly from Kathmandu to Biratnagar

Half hour flight to Taplejung at Suketar Airport. The porters and crew will be waiting for our arrival. After landing we take an early lunch, while the crew arranges our gear. In the afternoon we blow out the cobwebs with an easy 2 to 3 hours walk along the ridge line to Lali Kharka, a grazing area. Overnight at tented camp.


Day 04:- Drive to Taplajung
Morning drive to Taplajung it will take around 8 hrs arrive Taplajung overnight Taplajung.

Day 05:- Taplajung, trek to Lali Kharka [2220meters]

This is an easy starting day.morning we climb up, we head to Lali Kharka with the trekking crew. On the trails, we walk by rich pastures and pristine settlements. After several descents for 2-3 hours, we arrive at Lali Kharka.


Day 06:- Trek to Keswa [2100meters]

As we traverse along the steep route to Pokhara village, fascinating terraced farmland unfolds soon after crossing a suspension bridge above the Phawa Khola. The route further leads to Kunjari where we halt for lunch. After lunch, we continue following the trekking trail. We get to see dense forests and sometimes a small village located on a hill, as we progress along the trail. On skirting along a gently sloping mountain path, we reach Tambawa and later Bhanjyang, where we spot several teahouses. At this point, we can capture mesmerizing sight of Kanchenjunga glowing against the sun. After having trekked for 5-6 hours, we conclude the day’s trip.


Day 07:- Trek to Mamanke [2000meters]

Leaving behind the terraced fields of Keswa, we follow an adventurous route to Nandeva Khola. After crossing the river, we trudge along the glaciated mountain passes. Further ahead, the route winds through dense forest and the village of Loppoding. We come across shady areas where we can rest for a while after strenuous trekking. The sinuous trail then takes us to the right bank of the Kabeli Khola. After a while, terraced fields reappear and the village of Anpan comes into view. We continue ascending till we reach Ponpe Dhara. There are shady spots on the way where we can have a brief rest. As we proceed along the trail, we see several hamlets and terraced fields stretch along the crest of the ridge. There is a rest area where we can pause for a while to bask in the fascinating sight of Mt. Jannu. We continue our descent along the winding path, as we pass through the village of Anpan and terraced fields along Khangwa Khola. We arrive at a suspension bridge. We cross the bridge and continue descending the undulating mountain passes till we reach the village of Mamankhe.


Day 08:- Trek to Yamphudin [1650meters]

Beginning with an easy climb, the walk to Yamphudin is along a trail which contours the hillside above the Kabeli Khola. We cross the ridges and stream beds that make up the valley sides and the trail eventually becomes level with the river a couple of hours before Yamphudin. Along the way, we can stop to bathe in one of the many clear pools in this beautiful river. It is a truly idyllic spot and after lunch by the river, we complete the day's walk to Yamphudin. Yamphudin is the most remote settlement in this area and the last habitation we will see until we reach Gunsa. Needless to say, it is a charming place tucked away beneath the ridge of the Deorali Danda, which we must cross next.


Day 09:- Trek to Lamite Jungle camp [2920meters]

Beyond Yamphudin, the trail ascends a steep spur before dropping again to cross the Omje Khola. Walking through a beautiful and dense forest, we stop for lunch in a meadow atop this spur, which commands fine views of the valley beyond Yamphudin to the south and of the Omje Khola Valley and Deorali Danda to the north. A steep descent to the river brings us to our campsite in a clearing in the Lamite forest.


Day 10:- Trek to Tortongn (3010 meters)

From your campsite you ascend steeply for 3 hours through dense forest to the crest of the Deurali Danda.in dense forest most of the way. From the top at 3235 meters pass, Mt Jannu is clearly visible and definitely closer. After crossing the pass, you descend across some fairly steep and exposed scree slopes before re-entering the forest, where you will halt for lunch. After lunch, a steep descent takes us down into the valley of the Simbua Khola and after crossing an interesting wooden bridge is tortongn, a camping place with numerous rock shelters amid towering conifers. The steep hills make today a tough 6 to 7 hours trekking.overnight at torontan.


Day 11:- Trek to Tseram (3870 meters.

Following a riverside trail, we trek through pine and rhododendron forest to Tseram. There are great views of the Yalung Glacier and of Kabru and Rathong. The valley climbs fairly steeply and as the day progresses the trees become more stunted and scattered, giving us glimpses of the snow-capped giants ahead and the massive snout of Yalung Glacier. Just before Tseram the towering heights of Kabru and Rathong peak start to peep over the moraine. Camping at Tseram, a grazing area, the night temperatures will remind us that we are really gaining height. Overnight at Tseram


Day 12:- Explore around Ramche (4550 meters) and trek to Oktang (4730 meters).

Our first close encounter with Kanchenjunga. Following the valley round to see the stunning south face of Kanchanjunga and Jannu. We get across the Yalung Ri Glacier and continue by a sweeping curve, at Oktang, 4730 meters, we are suddenly confronted with the southern wall of the mountain. This vast ridge forms a cirque over 15 kms long, nowhere less than 7500 meters high and with three main summits of Kanchenjunga at 8420 meters, 8586 meters, and 8474 meters! It is a breathtaking mountain panorama. Overnight at Oktang


Day 13:- Trekking beyond the Mirgin La [4663meters]

Leaving our campsite, we trek down the valley, passing the small settlement of Lapsang, before turning off towards the Mirgin La - the pass we must cross in order to reach Gunsa and the north side of Kanchenjunga. As we descend from the Mirgin La, the views, in particular of Mt Jannu, are simply magnificent. Our campsite will be somewhere beyond the pass.


Day 14:- Trek to Ghunsa (3475 meters).

Although there four more passes, there is little descent between them, so in effect it is a high scenic area. After lunch descent brings us to Lamba Sumba Kharka where there are more views of the awesome Southwest Face of Jannu. From Kharka the going is easy again down a pleasant forested trail to the village of Ghunsa, where we camp in the village. Ghunsa is a picturesque Tibetan village; prayer flags flutter from the wooden houses and there are two monasteries, a welcome sight after the many days of wilderness. One of the local specialties’ is 'Tongba', a curious alcoholic drink. A jug or large bamboo cup is filled with fermented millet seed and boiling water pored over. The flavour and alcohol seep though and you drink it with a special straw. You might need a drink after the tough 4 to 6 hour walk. Overnight at Gunsa.


Day 15:- Trek to Kyapra [2300meters]

From Gunsa, our route out of the mountains follows the beautiful Gunsa and Tamur Kholas and passes through spectacular forests of rhododendron, conifer, birch and oak. The valley sides here are steep and the trail follows the river as it cascades downwards. We pass through Kyapra, the last of the Tibetan villages, and, an hour or so further on, we camp in the forest at a spot called Tang.


Day 16:- Trek to Sakathum [1600meters]

Heading for the village of Sakathum, our route follows an undulating trail for the first couple of hours until we reach Amjilasa. From here, there is a long steep descent from which we can see the Gunsa Khola Valley stretched out before us. We camp in the fields of Sakathum.


Day 17:- Trek to Chirwa 1180meters

Leaving Sakathum, we head to Chirwa. En route we meet the confluence of two rivers, Simbua Khola and Gunsa Khola at Tamur Kosi. On following the trail along Tamur khola, many other small tributary streams come our way. After trekking for about


Day 18:- Trek to Phurumba

The route further leads to cultivated land and rich pastures. On reaching Mitlung, we halt for a healthy lunch. Then our trail zigzags through the path of steep stones. After climbing for about 4 hours we come to the valley of Phurumba. We camp at Phurumba for the night.


Day 19:- Trek to Taplejung - Suketar [2300meters]

As we leave the valley, we continue ascending along the ridge for about 3 hours to Taplejung village. We can wander around the village getting familiar with village life, cultural richness, custom and village people. Thereafter, after leisurely ascents for about 2 hour, we finally reach the airstrip at Suketar where we conclude the trip of the day.


Day 20:- Drive to Biratnagar.

Enjoying your last glimpse of the mountains you have recently visited one last time on the 35 minute Scenic flight back to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.


Day 21:- : Fly back to kathmandu.

Day 22:- Kathmandu.

After breakfast visit Swayambhunath (monkey temple) a Stupa overlooking 80 Mt. above the city for Buddhist as well Hindu this is a very holy place. Visit Patan another historical place surrounded by many beautiful temple Patan is only separated by Baghmati river from Kathmandu second largest town in valley afternoon free stay. Overnight Kathmandu.


Day 23:- Departure.

After breakfast transfer Airport far International Departures.
