Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Day 2: Kathmandu

Morning after breakfast explore Kathmandu the capital city of Nepal we will visit special places like Pashupatinath at the bank of holy Baghmati River is the important Hindu temple. The Bodhnath is the biggest Buddhist Stupa and the most beautiful in the world about 500 years old. At the afternoon visit Hunmandhoka palace (Kathmandu durbar sq.)Is the residence of the living goddess called kumara, numerous interesting temples, Kasthmandap (house of wood) Overnight Kathmandu.


Day 03: arrive Lhasa

Pick you up at airport. Stay in Lhasa city overnight Lhasa.



Day 04: Lhasa

Morning after breakfast sightseeing Lhasa visit Potala Palace—The Potala was the place of the Dalai Lama. It was originally built in the 7th century by King Songtsan Gampo and rebuilt to the present size by the 5th Dalai Lama in the 17th century. Its 13-story main building is 117metershigh and is composed of the Red and White Palaces, with the red one in the middle. The main building consists of the Halls of Stupas of Dalai Lamas from various historical stages and halls of Buddhist statues. The White Palace is the residence of the Dalai Lamas and places for handing political affairs. The Potala Palace houses great amounts of rare cultural relics including the Pattra-leaf scripture from India, Bak’gyur and the imperial edicts, golden seals and titles of nobility granted by the Qing emperors to the Dalai Lamas. Jokhang Monastery- Located in the center of the ancient city of Lhasa, the Jokhang Temple was built in the seventh century by Songtsan Gambo, the Tang Princess Wen Cheng and Nepalese Princess Bhrikuti. Its four-story main building demonstrates a combination of the Han, Tibetan, Indian and Nepaless architectural styles, as well as a Mandala world outlook of Buddhism. With the Hall of Amitayus Sutra as its center, the temple symbolizes the nucleus of the universe. The Hall of Sakyamuni is the essence of the temple. Barkor Street- This area bursts with atmosphere and contradictions. On the one hand, this is one of THE holiest areas of Tibet, awash with pilgrims, monks, nuns and temples. On the other, the streets around here are the hubs of Lhasa’s commercial zone. Street traders, hawkers and market sellers fill the pavements around the Barkhor area.



Day 05: Lhasa

Morning after breakfast sightseeing Lhasa visit Sera Monastery is one of the 'great three' Gelukpa university monasteries of Tibet. The origin of the name 'Sera' is not certain, but it may derive from the fact that the original site was surrounded by 'Wild Roses' (se ra in Tibetan). Like the Drepung and Ganden monasteries, it had several colleges: Sera Mey Dratsang, built in 1419, gave basic instruction to the monks. Sera Jey Dratsang, built in 1435, was the largest, and was reserved for wandering monks, especially Mongol monks. Ngagpa Dratsang, built in 1559, was a school for the teaching of the gelukpa tantras.Sera housed more than 5,000 monks in 1959. Although badly damaged following the invasion and the Cultural Revolution, it is still standing and has been largely repaired. In 2008, After the Chinese invasion of Tibet and the destruction Afternoon visit Drepung monastery the Drepung Monastery is known as the most important monastery of Gelugpa in Tibetan Buddhism. It is considered one of the 'Three Great Monasteries' covering an area of 250,000 square meters, it held 7,700. The monestary was established in 1416 it developed as the richest monastery of Gelugpa and became the mother temple of Dalai Lamas. In 1546.



Day 06:Lhasa- Kathmandu

After breakfast visit Swayambhunath (monkey temple) a Stupa overlooking 80 Mt. above the city for Buddhist as well Hindu this is a very holy place. Visit Patan another historical place surrounded by many beautiful temple Patan is only separated by Baghmati river from Kathmandu second largest town in valley afternoon free stay. Evening visit Nepali family house farewell dinner at Nepalese lockel people house.(Dal Bhat Traditional food) Overnight Kathmandu.
